Potatoes are often used in our diet. We prepare it in lot of different ways.
In Instant Pot potatoes are cooked above the water level, so they keep more nutrients.
Mash potatoes can be enriched with carrots, peas, sweet potato, onions, garlic and parsley.

Ingredients
- 1.5 kg of potatoes
- 80 gr butter
- 2.5 dl of milk
- salt, pepper, turmeric (if desired)
- additions (peas, onions, carrots ect.) optional
Directions
- Step 1 Peel the potatoes and cut into bigger cubes. In Instant Pot, place 1.5 cups of water and put potatoes on a steaming pot. Season with salt.
- Step 2 Close the lid, turn the valve to “seal” and set “manual” to 4 min. When the potatoes are cooked, make a quick release by covering the cloth with the kettle and move it to the “venting” position.
- Step 3 Drain the water. Spice potatoes with salt and pepper as desired, and add a tumeric for beautiful yellow color. Add butter and milk and then make a potato mush.
- Step 4 Serve with roast meat.

- Step 1 Wash the potatoes. In Instant Pot, put 1.5 cups of water and put potatoes in steam basket.
- Step 2 Close the lid and set the valve to “seal”.
- Step 3 Cook small potatoes for 8 minutes, middle ones for 11 min and extra large for 14 minutes. Make a quick release by covering the cloth with the blender and moving it to the “venting” position.
- Step 4 Serve with roast meat or make potato salad.
